It seems many people atleast here in the unites states think that once your in your 30's you cannot run great times. I am 32 and ran my current marathon PR of 2:19:35 at the 2007 California International Marathon placing 4th overall with Canadian Charles Bedley taking 3rd in 2:16:26. I am coached by Lisa Larsen Rainsberger (formerly Weidenbach), 1985 Boston Marathon Champion. I am a member of the us army's world class athlete program as is Olympian Dan Browne. I wish you continued success. I have considered online coaching myself and at 32 I know my best years are still ahead. The Japanese have graciously offered to fly me to Osaka next March to compete in the Lake Biwa Marathon, am aiming at breaking 2:16 there. Best Wishes and continued success.

2LT Nate Pennington
www.wcapsoldier.blogspot.com
natep219@yahoo.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784767945961794741.post-17478387288062934812009-04-22T23:21:00.000-04:002009-04-22T23:21:00.000-04:00Steve,

I am a member of the us army's world class athlete program and am coached my 1985 Boston Marathon Champion (Lisa Larsen Rainsberger..formerly Weidenbach). I have considered online coaching as well. I think it is motivational to hear you ran all your PR's (and very fast ones!!!) after the age of 30. The Japanese have graciously offered to fly me to Osaka, Japan for next years Lake Biwa Marathon. I hope to break 2:17 there next March. I am including my blog address if youd like to know more about me. I hope to run a few races in Canada next year.

Best Wishes,
2LT Nate Pennington
www.wcapsoldier.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6784767945961794741.post-25132440602920197852009-04-21T12:49:00.000-04:002009-04-21T12:49:00.000-04:00Given your 20 second time drop between the Sun run...Given your 20 second time drop between the Sun run and the T-C run in 2008 we have no doubt that the M45-49 record will be yours in a matter of days.Oddishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00952578265462132377noreply@blogger.com
